GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF AN ARTICLE PROPOSED FOR PUBLICATION IN THE WESLEYAN THEOLOGICAL JOURNAL

Papers of the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Wesleyan Theological Society

The Spring 2010 issue of the Wesleyan Theological Journal will carry a selection of edited papers presented at the 2009 annual meeting of the WTS. All authors of papers presented at this 2009 meeting are encouraged to submit them for formal consideration. Papers will not be considered unless they are submitted by their authors to the WTJ Editor at or following this 2009 meeting, but no later than April 15, 2009.

The WTS’s Editorial Committee will meet in May, 2009, to offer evaluation and suggestions to the Editor concerning the articles to be published from among those submitted. Only papers submitted by the April 15 deadline will be considered in this meeting of the committee.

Submissions may be made to the editor via email attachment by April 15, 2009 (this gives time for any desired editing by the author after presentation at the March, 2009, annual meeting). Send by email attachment (saved in “rich text”) to the WTJ Editor, Dr. Barry L. Callen.

When submitting, an author should include: her/his full professional title, current place of service, mailing address, and e-mail address.

All authors submitting proposals should hear from the editor no later than June 25, 2009 concerning whether or not the material submitted was or was not accepted for publication.

Of course, papers not presented at an annual meeting of the WTS may also be submitted at any time for possible use in an issue of the WTJ where there may be space available.
